With the career-best sales of their new album and major label debut, the SPIN-approved My Dinosaur Life, and a spot-on appearance on late-night TV, it’s clear that Minneapolis pop-punk band Motion City Soundtrack are on a roll — and it’s not going to stop anytime soon: the quintet have just announced a tour of the U.S. this Spring.

The 15-date outing kicks off April 6 not far from the band’s hometown, in Duluth, MN, and hits cities across the Midwest and Southern U.S. with openers Fun., A Rocket To The Moon, and Sing It Loud. The tour will close out May 2 at New Jersey’s Bamboozle Fest, where MCS will perform alongside bands like MGMT, Weezer, and Paramore.

The trek is in continued support of My Dinosaur Life, which debuted last month at No. 15 on the Billboard Chart. In SPIN’s album review, writer Mikael Wood praised the band for their “radio-ready balance between mayhem and melody,” a dynamic was also on hand at MCS’ live gigs in Chicago last December, when played their first three albums over three nights.
