Finally, after years of blossoming demand, one of thequintessential rock moments of the ’90s will hit DVD for the first timeever; yes indeed, you can now bask in the mossy greens of Kurt Cobain‘s cardigan for Nirvana‘s MTV Unplugged in New York performance will hit stores shelves Nov. 20 via Universal Music Enterprises, Billboard.com reports.The show, originally taped Nov. 18 1993, some six months before thefrontman’s untimely death, will, much the like the CD offering,including “Something in the Way” and “Oh Me,” both of which did notappear in the original broadcast. Also arriving with Nirvana’s UnpluggedDVD — surely to please hardcore fans — are four tracks from theband’s soundcheck and previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage.
