Nirvana Soundtrack ‘Cold Case’ Episode

As of late, Kurt Cobain’s image and personal effects have appeared everywhere from Dr. Martens advertisements and lunchboxes to Christie’s auctioning blocks. And now, according to the LATimes.com (via Idolator), more conventional Cobain property, his seminal grunge-pop tunes, will seethe into the public domain, this time via nationwide television sets as Nirvana’s ’90s gems soundtrack an entire episode of CBS crime drama Cold Case. Whoa! Although an air time for this season’s Nirvana-fueled episode has yet-to-be announced, you can bet your bottom red and black-checkered flannel that Cobain’s famished widow, one Courtney Love, will be at home, VHS in hand, ready to document each milli-second and tally the royalties.
