Tour Update: Ben Kweller

In addition to treating Brooklynites to a three night, career-spanning residency and providing SPIN.com with a live Pumpkins cover and tour of his ‘hood, Ben Kweller has now adjoined several July dates to his previously announced August tour. Now, the complete 28-date nationwide outing, his third behind 2006’s Ben Kweller, will kick off July 20 in Detroit. From there, Kweller and crew will head east, gig throughout the eastern seaboard, then turn south, logging gigs in cities like Atlanta, Orlando, and New Orleans. Next, the wunderkind will head to more familiar states like Oklahoma and Texas before bouncing back to Tennessee and Virginia. Following a roughly three week break, Kweller will then return to the Lone Star state for a concluding gig at the Austin City Limits Festival Sept. 15.
