Legends stroll around Bonnaroo with stunning regularity. In the span of a few hours, we were visited by Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir, Flaming Lips guru Wayne Coyne, Ben Harper, and Warren Haynes, the Bonnaroo fixture from Gov’t Mule. An alumnus of the Allman Brothers Band, Haynes has made his own rep at Bonnaroo, playing five of the six Bonnaroos to date. We caught up with him just before he took the stage to shred with the Mule.
