Previously label and title-less tour plotting outfit Architecture in Helsinki have snuggled up with Of Montreal, Matt Pond PA, and the Mates of State over at Illinois-based label Polyvinyl to release Places Like This, the band’s third LP arriving in the U.S. Aug. 7. Preceding the LP’s release, “Heart it Races,” Places Like This‘ first single, will drop as a digital download, CD, and 12″ vinyl June 5. The previously reported single cover and remix treatments courtesy of Dr. Dog, Hey Willpower!, and YACHT will also appear on the CD and 12″ versions. Places Like This, Architecture in Helsinki’s first album since 2005’s In Case We Die, will feature 10 songs with titles such as “Red Turned White,” “Feather in a Baseball Cap,” “Underwater.”
