Nas Plots North American Tour

Nas has announced a 23-date North American tour of theaters and small venues in support of his latest long-player, Hip Hop Is Dead, LiveDaily.com reports. The outing will kick off April 2 in Cleveland, weave throughout the south, and then leap north of the border for two gigs. Next, Nas will perform in Midwest cities like Detroit, Chicago, and St. Louis, head west, and wrap in San Diego May 2. Hip Hop Is Dead, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2004’s double-disc Street’s Disciple, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart upon its release in December 2006.
