New York City’s annual CMJ Music Marathon is set for Tuesday, Oct. 16 through Saturday, Oct. 20, organizers announced. As it rings in its 27th year, the conference is moving downtown, with a homebase at the Puck Building on Houston Street and a bevvy of events scheduled for facilities owned by New York University.
Those planning to attend — estimated as roughly 12,000 music professionals and over 100,000 music fans annually — can purchase early bird badges at a discounted price via ticketweb.com. Bands interested in performing at the CMJ Music Marathon can submit applications at a 20 percent discounted rate before April 15, 2007 via sonicbids.com.
