The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Gnarls Barkley will be among the performers at the 49th annual Grammy Awards, set to air live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center Feb. 11 at 8 P.M. EST on CBS. Pop diva Beyonce and controversial country gals Dixie Chicks are also scheduled to perform. RHCP will arrive brandishing six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Rock Album for Stadium Arcadium, and Best Music Video, among other nods. Gnarls Barkley earned bids for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Album for their soul-infused hit record, St. Elsewhere, as well as Record of the Year and Best Urban Alternative Performance. Terrence Howard, Samuel L. Jackson, Pink, and Rihanna will be among the presenters at the ceremony.
