Legendary rock icon Pete Townshend was announced today as the keynote speaker for the 2007 South By Southwest Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas. Townshend is scheduled to address the pilgrimage-worthy gathering on March 14 at 6:30 P.M. in Austin’s Convention Center. In addition to the speech, Townshend will also pair with regular collaborator Rachel Fuller on March 15 for a live performance of Attic Jam, their collaborative series of performances and webcasts.
