Christopher Walken is famous for choosing out-there roles (dancing in the Fatboy Slim “Weapon of Choice” clip comes to mind), but he’s trying something completely different this time, playing Ozzy Osbourne in the forthcoming film version of the Motley Crüe autobiography, The Dirt. “How funny is that going to be,” Crüe frontman Vince Neil told ABC News Radio of Walken’s cameo. While the Crüe will be played by unknown actors, Neil told ABC that other major celebs will appear in the film, including Val Kilmer. who will play David Lee Roth. “We’re doing big, giant cameos with those people,” he said. which The Dirt is in preproduction and is set to be released in 2008 by Paramount and MTV.
