Eminem’s Baseball Video

In the opening of the World Series pre-game Sunday (Oct. 22), FOX aired the network premiere of Eminem’s “You Don’t Know,” his new track off Eminem Presents: The Re-Up (out Dec. 5) featuring 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Cashis. The clip features atypical video fodder for the Aftermath rapper, as it alternates between shots of Em, 50, and crew as they rap, and baseball highlights featuring Em’s hometown Detroit Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals. The video isn’t the song’s official one, but it has incited chatter in the online community regarding Em’s forthcoming album, the anticipated follow-up to last year’s hits album that was rumored to be his retirement release, Curtain Call.

Here’s what the people are saying:

“That is the shit right there. That was a fuckin’ sick. Eminem 50 Cent, G-Unit, Aftermath all the god damn way.” — kvin51, youtube.com

“BIG-SELL-OUT” — yoko0309, youtube.com

“I have to say I’m not really feeling this song. Em sounds like he’s just trying to do a G-Unit impersonation, which is what usually happens when he teams up with 50 Cent.” — 33jones.com

“The good news is, everything I’ve heard so far leads me to believe it will be worth the long wait.” — fresh, 33jones.com

“If anyone has the remotest clue what Eminem and his friends sang (rapped?) in the rousing musical interlude provided by the programming introduction, could they email me? On second thought…never mind.” — coalitionoftheswilling.net
