Don't Throw 'Borat' Soundtrack Down the Well

Forget Garden State — there’s a new life-changing soundtrack in town, and it features songs by such acclaimed artists as Esma Redzepova, Erran Baron Cohen, and of course, Borat. The soundtrack to the forthcoming Borat film will have its worldwide digital release Oct. 24 on iTunes, and will hit stores on Halloween, three days before the film hits theaters. It also boasts a title even longer than the movie’s own moniker: Borat: Stereophonic Musical Listenings that Have Been Origin in Moving Film ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’.

The soundtrack will feature songs like the infamous “In My Country There Is Problem (Throw the Jew Down the Well),” as well as the album-only track, “You Be My Wife,” both sung by the Kazakh reporter himself. Also featured on the album are three video segments, including “O Kazakhstan,” an exclusive sing-along scene from the film specifically tailored for the soundtrack, and a deleted scene.
