Stromata, the new album from decidedly pretty singer/songwriter Charlotte Martin is due out Sept. 12, but this Illinois-native is tiding over her fans with the video for that album’s title track. Magnified visions of stromata, or the supporting frameworks of cells and organisms, swirl through some of the video’s backdrop as Martin dramatically fingers her keyboard to lush orchestration from strings and delivers lines with Tori Amos-inspired conviction.
