Appearing in court for a review of his drug rehabilitation program, Pete Doherty told a London judge that he is getting a chemical implant in his abdomen to help him beat his drug addiction. The Babyshambles frontman appeared in court yesterday (July 13) and was told he failed his most recent drug test. Regardless, Judge Jane McIvor seemed pleased with his progress. “You are going in the right direction,” she said. “I think your concentration should be, within six months of the order, to get a negative test.” Pete is hedging his hopes on the implant, which releases a drug into the body to keep his drug cravings in check.
