While it may have begun with a more singular musical focus, Bonnaroo has undeniably spread its wings and diversified as an event over the past two years. Nothing cemented the festival’s evolution into a broad, sweeping, must-attend American event more than Radiohead’s mind-bending set Saturday night. The world’s biggest indie rock band lent its seal of approval — “Now this is what I call a festival,” Thom Yorke shouted from the stage — and their intricate, challenging set appealed equally to die-hard fans and the average Bonnaroo attendee.
