50 Cent may be a hugely successful rap star, but what he really wants to do is act… and produce.
The rapper has signed on to star in the upcoming heist thriller, Live Bet, which he will also produce, according to Hollywood Reporter. The flick centers on underground clubs in New York City that allow patrons to bet on illegal car racing.
Next up, 50 will appear in Home of the Brave, in which three soldiers try to readjust to life at home after serving in the Iraq war, and will star in The Dance, the story of champion prize fighter Billy “The Kid” Roth who volunteered as a boxing coach for more than four decades in Louisiana prisons, according to IMDB.com.
Last year 50 made his silver-screen debut in the semiautobiographical Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
