Didn’t get a close enough look into Madonna’s life with her 2005 DVD I’m Going to Tell You A Secret that features appearances from several members of the Ciccone family? The Material Girl-turned-Anglophile will re-release the DVD this summer, which will include brand new footage and the director’s cut of Madonna’s 2003 clip for “American Life.”
Back in 2004, Madge’s fave director Jonas Akerlund (“Ray of Light,” “Music,” “American Life”) helmed a documentary chronicling the Queen of Pop’s Re-Invention Tour in support of her American Life album. Now, the DVD, along with a 14-song CD of some of her hits as performed in the film and on tour, will be released in one package, according to Billboard.com. The set, still called I’m Going to Tell You a Secret, will hit stores on June 13.
Madonna is preparing to tour behind her latest album, Confessions on a Dance Floor, in May, but this Sunday [4/30] she’ll make her first-ever festival appearance at Coachella when she takes the stage at the Sahara tent.
