Having released just one album, London’s cheekily-monikered Test Icicles have called it quits.
After rumors circulated that the trio was through, Test Icicles pulled out of their upcoming U.S. tour (which included a planned appearance at SXSW) and a scheduled NME Awards gig in London this Friday with Nine Black Alps; the band is unlikely to record another album.
“The band have just come off a European tour and are exhausted from the constant pressures of touring,” a spokesperson for the group said in a statement, according to NME.
Test Icicles will honor commitments for their April U.K. tour, and will release a limited edition single on March 6 featuring remixes of “Boa vs. Python” and “Catch It.”
