With the unseasonably warm NYC temperatures these past weeks, it’s easy to start fantasizing about outdoor summer performances, especially when you know that Seu Jorge and Yo La Tengo will be gracing the stage at Central Park and Brooklyn’s Prospect park this July. Blogger Brooklyn Vegan says that Seu will be performing at Central Park on July 2, while Ralph’s World and Yo La Tengo will perform at the Prospect Park bandshell on the July 9 and 13, respectively. Last year the SummerStage program hosted free concerts by the Killers, the Arcade Fire,Louis XIV, the MC5, the New Pornographers, Elvis Costello, Death Cab for Cutie, the Decemberists, and many others.
