Fall Out Boy Making (Baby)faces

Fall Out Boy might be evolving into Fall Out Men: They’re looking to grow sonically on their third album, and the direction they’re going in is sure to shock many a Fall Out Boy enthusiast. Outspoken bassist Pete Wentz tells MTV.com that the band wants famed R&B producer Babyface to produce their follow up to this year’s platinum selling From Under the Cork Tree. “I swear to God he’s going to do at least six songs with us,” Wentz proclaimed. The Babyface-produced soundtrack to the Rachel Leigh-Cook vehicle Josie and the Pussycats was what piqued Fall Out Boys’ interest. Wentz says FOB will also address their myriad rock beefs on the new album. “[W]e’re going to start this gang where we just go and start beef with people. Because rock bands are scared of it,” Wentz boasted. Fall Out Boy plays a sold out show tonight in Des Moines, Iowa as part of the Nintendo Fusion Tour.
