Deerhoof Tromps Through North America

Woodland creatures ’round the country should cower in terror: In support of their new album, Runners Four, San Francisco-based kings of the forest Deerhoof have announced a full-fledged North American tour for the fall. According to their label’s website, Deerhoof’s tour kicks off on September 13 in Northampton, Massachusetts and ends in Los Angeles on November 23. Of special note: Deerhoof’s Philadelphia show will be part of “An Evening with the Roots” at Philly’s gorgeous Kimmel Center, home of the Philadelphia Orchestra; TV on the Radio is also on that bill.
