David Bowie is Arcade Fire’s Hero

For the second time in the past week, David Bowie has joined the Arcade Fire on a New York City Stage. Last night on Central Park’s Summerstage during the CMJ festival, Bowie and the Arcade Fire covered Bowie’s “Queen Bitch,” just as they did a few days ago for the Fashion Rocks concert celebrating Fashion Week. After paying homage to Bowie, the Arcade Fire had Bowie guest on their own “Wake Up” from 2004’s critically spooged-over Funeral. Even if you don’t live in New York, you might get a chance to the Fire closer to home: The Arcade Fire are currently on a tour of the Americas, winding up back in their native Montreal on November 28, opening for U2.
