We’re Wide Awake, Conor’s Touring

Conor Oberst, the man behind Bright Eyes, is touring this fall in support of his two 2005 releases, I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn. A press release promises a more conventional Bright Eyes sound on this jaunt; Oberst toured earlier this year with members of the Faint as his backing band so he could perform numbers from the more electronic-oriented, offbeat Digital Ash album. Oberst and co. kick things off on October 22 in Santa Barbara, California and winds up in Jersey City, New Jersey on November 26. I’m Wide Awake debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard charts and Digital Ash debuted at No. 16.
