Graham Coxon Likes to Do Drawings

Well, you know his name is Coxon, and he likes to do drawings! The former Blur guitarist has completed his sophomore record, including all of its artwork, just as he did for his first solo outing, 2004’s Happiness in Magazines. “With the artwork on this one and the last one, I’ve done all the recording first and then started drawing stuff,” Coxon told NME.com. “What I do is I take notebooks to the coffee shops, drink pints of coffee, and do loads of drawings.” On Coxon’s official site, he describes his new album as “psycha-sentimental-aladelic”; the album is slated for a fall release. Coxon is not currently on tour, but is playing the infamous Carling Weekend in Reading and Leeds on August 26-27.
