One of the twelve bands up for Britain’s prestigious Mercury Prize, the Go! Team, will release their debut album, Thunder, Lightning, Strike, on September 27 in the U.S. The buzz-worthy album has been out in the U.K. since last fall, but the American version of Thunder, Lightning, Strike includes two bonus tracks. Brighton’s own the Go! Team will bring their funk and blues infected pop music to U.S. shores on October 14. The band kicks off a handful of dates in Houston, Texas and winds up in New York for a Webster Hall performance.
