September 15 - 16, 2011 - Vans teamed up with NYC-based skate and streetwear purveyor DQM for VansDQM General - a new collaborative retail store in the city's SoHo neighborhood.Stocked with the latest apparel from Vans and DQM, the store also offers a solid selection of downtown-inspired decks, trucks, and wheels, giving a nod to both brands' art, skate, and punk heritages. The Mattson 2, joined by Vans skate legend Ray Barbee, christened the new space at Vans DQM General's official, invite-only store opening party.
The party continued Sept. 16 in Brooklyn as Vans welcomed punk legends Suicidal Tendencies and hundreds of fans into its dual skate/performance space, the aptly named House of Vans.
