What They're Up To Next: According to a recent MySpace blog post, BSS have been recording their next record in Chicago with producer John McEntire (Tortoise, Bonnie "Prince" Billy).

Why the Honey Brothers Chose Them: "Broken Social Scene does rock really well.Good group chemistry, damn tight for a band with about 20 sometime members, and great swelling melodies. They also do sweet quite well, too -- something you wouldn’t guess from their name. It's not revolutionary, but they're accessible, they're not too obscure, and they've got really great melodies."
