X Marks Spots for Fall Tour

After years of on-again, off-again performing, the acclaimed punk band X is hitting the road for eight full dates this fall. X kicks things off on November 11 in Long Beach, California, and then plays eight dates in December with Juliana Hatfield opening. The final show will be on December 10 in Boston. Lead singer Exene Cervenka, a well-known artist and poet in her own right, currently has a show on display at the Santa Monica Museum of Art. The show, called "America the Beautiful," exhibits a collection of Exene's journals and collages spanning the entirety of her musical career since 1974. Earlier this year, X released Live in Los Angeles, a live album recorded at two Los Angeles gigs in 2004.
