Wrong Arcade Fire Song Offered on iTunes

The Arcade Fire's touted new single, "Intervention," was supposed to be made available on iTunes tomorrow (Dec. 28), but due to a flub up at the band's label, not only was a song posted to the music retail giant yesterday (two days too early), but it was the wrong one.
"'Intervention' was supposed to be uploaded to iTunes as a charity single benefiting Partners in Health, [but] someone at Merge uploaded the wrong song," the band's frontman Win Butler wrote in a blog post. "The song that people have downloaded from the U.S. side of iTunes is called 'Black Wave/Bad Vibrations,' and it is the next track on the record after 'Intervention'...The real 'Intervention' will be up soon."
Butler revealed he's in good spirits about the whole thing, writing, "I guess it is sort of charming that we can send the wrong song to the whole world with a click of a mouse...oh well."
