Stream Savages’ Intense Debut Album ‘Silence Yourself’

savages, jehnny beth, silence yourself

Savages have had SPIN’s attention ever since their show-stealing performance at last year’s CMJ Music Marathon. The post-punks followed that gig by landing on SPIN’s 50 Best Things We Saw At Coachella 2013 (frontwoman Jehnny Beth walked off with the “Best Fist Pump” award), dropping the strobe-lit video for “Shut Up,” and setting a May 7 release date for their intensely anticipated debut album, Silence Yourself (arriving on Matador Records and Beth’s own Pop Noire label). Now fans can hear Savages’ first full-length in its nervy, taut entirety, as the camera-shy Londoners have shared the full LP on their website

Stream all of Silence Yourself — from the breakneck chanting of “No Face” to the mournful bass that supports “Waiting for a Sign” — down below.
