Robert Pattinson Tells Off Courtney Love

When rumors surfaced in the Spring that Twilight star Robert Pattinson might be cast in a biopic about the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love loudly expressed her disapproval -- and now the big screen vampire is biting back.
The English heartthrob addressed Love -- the late singer's wife and mother to their daughter, Frances Bean -- in an interview with the Daily Mirror, blasting the whole debate as "ridiculous," and saving some choice words for the Hole singer.
"And you see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying 'What the fuck! He's totally wrong for it,'" Pattinson said. "And I'm like, 'I fucking said no, you dick!' I didn't get offered it. For one thing, I'm too tall, and I can't sing like him, I'm nothing like him! It's ridiculous."
But RPatz's stance has nothing to do with his feelings about Kurt Cobain's music. "I love Nirvana," Pattinson told the Mirror, "but I love them a bit too much. I'd be embarrassed."
Back in April, a report in British tabloid The Sun had Pattinson slated to play Cobain and Scarlett Johansson in talks to play Love.
Love's manager addressed the rumors exclusively to SPIN.com. "That's an amazing story, and the first I've heard of any of this," Jonathan Daniel said. "They manage to fit pretty much everyone in Hollywood into an article without one fact check."
A few days later, Love took to Twitter to comment on the rumored casting decision anyway: "HEY I LIKE R PATZ HES JUST NOT RIGHT FOR KC!" She also sounded off to the Canadian Press: "Isn't that so stupid? Who would cast him? That's just wrong, no offense."
But ScarJo, on the other hand, might have Love's blessing. "Courtney likes Scarlett Johanssen as an actress and as a person, so it wouldn't surprise me if she wanted her to play her," Daniel said.

all these comments make me sick! Except the one of Heath he'd be a cool cast but hes also dead. Courtney is a widow and the KURT AND COURTNEY movie doesnt justify anything..anyone can make a movie thats one sided. im sure this movie is the last thing Courtney wants to do..but hollywood wants to do it and she hasto make sure hollyfake does it right! wow. this woman needs to just fall off the face of the earth. stop money-grubbing your dead husband whom you killed and dont even give two ****s about you no-talent, druggie hack. Grohl and Novoselic should have been given control over his estate since theyd actually respect the man, not this whore Kurt picked up. and to all you people ignorant on his death, its physically impossible for someone his size and build to pull off a "self-inflicted" shotgun wound to the head. think about that. long live Nirvana

The "Twilight" generation cashing in on Kurdt Cobain is a total joke, just like the quality of cinema they have been programmed to take seriously. ANYONE between the ages of 28 - 36(!) yr s who feels contrary to that statement is philosophically a waste time, even in an internet context. I'm sure that this film will happen anyway...produced, written and directed by clueless greedy assholes who believe the time is NOW for their payday.

Didn't Courtney say in a interview about how she just wanted people to stop asking and reminding her of Kurt? Wow, that literally just goes to show all she ever wanted from him was his money. 16 years later she pretty much destroyed everything Kurt was about and turned him into some object she can make money from. And is any of the money even going to Francis? I bet Kurt loved Francis more than he loved Courtney, it's really sad how many people say they're a Nirvana fan but know nothing about what they talk about. Glad to see there's still a lot more people who are true Nirvana fans, since guitar hero came out everyone thinks they know so much about Nirvana because they can play their songs on a video game.

she refers to her late husband and father to her daughter as KC. That shows how much respect she has for someone she supposedly loved. Definitely Team Rob on this one, Courtney's a spiteful nobody and this film shouldn't have anything to do with her because she's only interested in saving face.

Michael Sera as Kurdt, Jonah Hill as Dave, and McLovin as Krist. And do it as a complete raunchy-comedy. Throw in Betty White as Courtney to catch that zeitgeist. That is the ONLY WAY I'D SEE THIS COURTNEY LOVE VANITY-PIC WHICH WOULD BE THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME SINCE 'THE DOORS'! Kurdt will be spinning like a rotisserie chicken in his grave if this thing even goes into pre-production.

Joe Anderson, who played Maxwell in Across the Universe, should play Kurt Cobain. His voice is perfect for it and he looks a lot like him. And if not him, then Ewan McGregor.

I saw Pattinson play Dali in "Little Ashes". I was impressed. I think he would be perfect as Kurt. I still get chills from his death. I am a Nirvana fan. Courtney on the other hand has never recovered and never will. I can't imagine her emotions--she saw him after he had taken his life. She loved him dearly.

Im on the fence. I want to see a Nirvana movie but I know Hollywood would ruin it and make up there own version that would be far from the truth. So if I had to chose id say leave it alone. And of course Courtney is happy about Scarlett Johanson. Shes hot and shes not!
