In all of the controversy surrounding Rick Ross' rape-advocating lyric on "U.O.E.N.O.", one glaringly obvious aspect has been consistently overlooked: What does the guy that the song is credited to think about it? Well, now we know ... sort of. In an interview with Hot 97, Rocko announced that the Bawse's verse would not be included in a remix of the song, which Fader says is rumored to include Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Young Jeezy.

Still, while not as shameful as Ross' pair of non-apologies and Meek Mill's weak Biggie-obscuring defense, Rocko avoids taking a moral stance on the issue, seemingly pointing to commercial concerns as the main motivation in the move. "Because of the type of traction that the record has, as far as radio, all over the country," he says in the clip below, "I have to change it. I have six different verses from very talented, multifaceted artists."

Rocko also acknowledged the tough position the offending lyric put him in, as far as balancing what's right against offending a bigger artist. "In life you have to put everything on the scale. If it's not weighing up, you have to do what you have to do," he says. "I don't wanna take him off, but one thing that’s set in stone, is he's always gonna be on that song ... It doesn't matter who I put on the song, that's always gonna be the original version."
