Radiohead have decided to wrap up their performance of songs from their 2011 disc The King of Limbs from producer Nigel Godrich’s basement into DVD and Blu-ray packages — just in time for Christmas. As the band humbly explain on its official website (via Consequence of Sound), “In case you didn’t see it, the programme is a live studio performance of The King of Limbs.”

The disc will be available digitally via iTunes on December 19, and physical releases will ship before Christmas but become available in stores in late January. The Blu-ray costs £20.00 and the DVD is going for £16.00 ($31 and $26 according to the latest conversion rate) and shipping is included in the price. The set includes a 32-page book featuring photos by Steve Keros.

The King of Limbs: Live From the Basement originally ran as a live broadcast on the BBC in early July. Palladia and MTV2 aired the set several weeks later. The show marked the band’s first live performances of the album — five months after its release. Grant Gee, who helmed the 1998 Radiohead doc Meeting People Is Easy directed the 54-minute show.
