It Happened Last Night

Mercury Rev Up Irving Plaza

NEW YORK, NY: The neo-psych collective brought their dream pop downstate.

It was under the slogan "someone once took a chance on you" that the Buffalo rock outfit took the stage at Irving Plaza, instantly creating an inspiringly emotionally-charged atmosphere. The mood proved highly contagious, and for nearly two hours, their devoted fans swayed and bopped to the band's brand of space rock, perfectly accompanied by a dazzling array of colorful laser lights and strobes. It seemed only fitting that the band left on a positive note: "You had other options tonight. Thanks for showing up." In the end, everyone was thankful they had.
