Hurray for the Riff Raff's Small Town Heroes LP recently landed on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2014... So Far. If that's not proof enough that this New Orleans-bred folk-blues band deserves your attention, then consult the group's June 25 performance of "The Body Electric" on the Late Show With David Letterman. Decked out in a flowing white gown, singer Alynda Lee Segarra led the rootsy outfit in a rendition that starts out quiet and builds to a gorgeous swell of strings and cymbal flourishes. Watch the clip above, check out our interview with Segarra, and catch Hurray for the Riff on tour as they support Small Town Heroes through the fall.
