Field Music Prep to Hit 'Town'

Sunderland, England's Field Music -- composed of Brewis brothers David and Peter, as well as Andy Moore -- are set to release another cheerful and wobbly art-pop release with sophomore album Tones Of Town. Despite the band's optimistic lilt on songs like "She Can Do What She Wants," which swoons out un-weeping strings, chiming Casio-toned keys, and chunky bass lines, frontman Peter meditates on tragically damaged love. "Don't leave me," he sighs repeatedly in the chorus. "She's not home / Somehow I knew she'd have gone / But how come I feel wrong / When I know that she can do what she wants?" Tones of Town will enter the field Feb. 20 via Memphis Industries.
