Eminem & Royce Collab, Foos Doc Hits DVD + More

  • Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ will release their collaborative EP Bad Meets Evil in June, but the first single has hit the web. Head over to Rap Radar to hear the heavy, thudding banger “Fast Lane.”

  • Foo Fighters will release their revealing documentary Back and Forth on DVD and Blu-ray on June 14 and via iTunes on June 7. The set includes 35 minutes of extra footage, including additional interviews and deleted scenes, according to a press release.

  • Richie Sambora is dropping out of Bon Jovi‘s upcoming tour to enter rehab for a drinking problem. The band is planning to continue with their touring plans, although they have not yet announced Sambora’s replacement. “Our support for Richie is absolute,” the band said in a statement. “He is, and will remain, a member of Bon Jovi.” [Billboard]

  • For the inaugural MTV O Awards yesterday, Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege of Chiddy Bang broke the Guinness World Record for longest rap in history. The rapper spit rhymes for an impressive 9 hours, 18 minutes, and 33 seconds. Rapper M-Eighty held the previous record with a freestyle that lasted 9 hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds. [Spinner]

  • The Donnas, Shonen Knife, the Dandy Warhols, Care Bears on Fire, and others will pay tribute to the Runaways on a covers album titled Take It or Leave It — A Tribute to the Queens of Noise: The Runaways. Kathleen Hanna, Beastie BoysAd-Rock, and Peaches are also contributing with a rendition of “Dead End Justice.” The two-CD, 36-track set is due out June 7. [Kik Axe Music]
