Chance the Rapper was one of a few acts set to close out this year’s Lollapalooza, and it was clear that he wanted to make the affair one to remember. Last week, he released a version of the Arthur theme song called “Wonderful Everyday” in celebration of his festival show. On Sunday morning, he tweeted that the set was “for Chicago” and that night he enlisted a Windy City legend to honor their shared hometown.
None other than embattled R&B superstar R. Kelly came out during the set for keyed-up performances of his own “Ignition (Remix),” “The World’s Greatest,” and “Bump N’ Grind,” while the Acid Rap–per played the role of gleeful hype man. You can watch some blurry fan-shot footage of the set both above and below, via Vulture.
