The minimalist composer Philip Glass turns 80 years old in 2017, and the Tibet House, the cultural center he cofounded in the ’80s, turns 30. To mark both occasions, Tibet House is hosting a tribute concert at Carnegie Hall featuring experimental-leaning musicians of all stripes, including Iggy Pop, Laurie Anderson, the current Peter Hook-less lineup of New Order, Patti Smith.

Tibet House hosts a benefit concert with a similarly stacked lineup every year; the 2016 iteration featured FKA Twigs, Sharon Jones, and Gogol Bordello. In addition to the artists noted above, the upcoming concert will feature the Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal, Patti Smith’s daughter Jesse Paris Smith, the Scorchio string quartet, and the harpist Lavinia Meijer, a frequent Glass collaborator.

The concert takes place March 16 at Carnegie Hall. Tickets are available here.
