Puff Daddy has been teasing a Bad Boy Entertainment reunion tour, and the kickoff has been announced: BBE artists will perform May 20 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in honor of borough’s native, late rapper, and future hologram Notorious B.I.G.
Biggie would have been 44 on May 21. The lineup features Diddy, R&B star Faith Evans (who was married to B.I.G.), Lil’ Kim, French Montana, Mase — and, oh yeah, special guests Jay Z and Mary J. Blige. Also on the bill: NYC hip hop group The Lox (you know, the one with Jadakiss), Atlanta R&B quartet 112, and Mario Winans. According to a press release, the event will be “filled with material spanning Bad Boy Entertainment’s 20 years as the driving force behind hip hop music.”
No word yet on when Puff Daddy’s so-called final album, No Way Out 2, will get a release date, but you can download Kim’s brand-new mixtape Lil’ Kim Season right now. Tickets to the Bad Boy family reunion at Barclays Center are on sale Saturday via Live Nation.
