Bodhi’s brand of U.K. garage is as overcast as their homeland of Cardiff, Wales, lanced through with vocal accents like re-invigorating beams of sunlight through the clouds. In April the DJ duo will release a new EP, Step It Back (via Black Butter Records); they’ve already shared the title track, and are now following it up with the brittle “Time Warp.” For this one they pick up the pace to a high-stepping, cowbell-clanking clip, dusting stabs of piano chords with wispy diva house vocals á la Robert Hood‘s Floorplan alias.
