London production trio LV have described their sophomore LP, the ecstatic Sebenza, as “South London meets South Africa.” The “X meets Y” conceit is always a cause for skepticism, but it works here. On “Come to Me (Hyperdub),” an exclusive non-album track, South African M.C. Ruffest whipsaws between tongue-twisting spitting and a more relaxed flow — in multiple languages — as the producers roll out a series of buzzing, rolling hyperdub beats for him float over. Turn up that bass, too, and see if you can make your computer wiggle.
