Headlight’s dynamic first full-length, Kill Them With Kindness, is slated for an August 22 release, and we’ve scored one of the most infectious and optimistic tracks from it. In fact, with its spunky handclaps and punchy keyboard trios that morph into squiggly lines, “Hi-Ya!”‘s pep-factor rivals some of this summer’s most upbeat songs. Plus, it reminds us that when the world outside our windows is on fire, all that matters is “we’re fine [and] just want to have a good time.”
