Update: Voodoo Festival Split Between New Orleans and Memphis

The Voodoo Music Festival, which relocated from New Orleans to Memphis, Tennessee’s Tom Lee Park in light of the devastation following Hurricane Katrina, has altered its schedule yet again, splitting the festival bill between one night in the Big Easy (Oct. 29) and one night in Memphis (Oct. 30). According to the Festival’s official site, tickets for the New Orleans night will be only given out by invitation to emergency personnel residing in the city; however, tickets purchased prior to the disaster will be honored. The New Orleans show, which is slated to take place in Riverview Park behind the Audubon Zoo, will include Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, LCD Soundsystem, Secret Machines, and the Bravery. The Memphis show will feature the Decemberists, New York Dolls, VHS or Beta, and Cake.
