Sinead O'Connor has revealed that her 17-year-old son Shane was found dead after going missing. The singer mourned the loss on Twitter. "This is a message for my son, Shane," she wrote. "Shane, it\u2019s not funny any more all this going missing. You are scaring the crap out of me. Could you please do the right thing and present yourself at a Gardai station. If you are with Shane please call the Gardai for his safety." "Shane, your life is precious. God didn\u2019t chisel that beautiful smile on your beautiful face for nothing," she continued. "My world would collapse without you. You are my heart. Please don\u2019t stop it from beating. Please don\u2019t harm yourself. Go to the Gardai and let\u2019s get you to hospital." Sinead O'Connor later revealed that Shane had been admitted to the hospital after attempting to end his life twice. "I want to know why Lynn Ward at Taillight hospital who were supposed to have HCA\u2019s supervise my child 24\/7 have managed to let him out of their grasp this morning when 7 days ago he made two severe suicide attempts," she tweeted. Shane was one of Sinead O\u2019Connor\u2019s four children. His father was Irish musician Donal Lunny.
