Following Aretha Franklin's open-casket viewing and prior to her funeral in Detroit, the city's Chene Park will host a memorial concert for the soul legend, as the Detroit Free Press reports. Franklin was born in Detroit and died there last week surrounded by her family. Prior to Franklin's death, legendary music executive Clive Davis was planning a tribute concert for the singer, songwriter, and pianist was announced for November, which is slated to be held at New York's Madison Square Garden in November.
