The coronavirus scare is starting to impact everyday life, and that now includes the music industry. Since the outbreak, a number of artists have canceled or postponed shows as a result of it. Artists from a wide variety of genres, including Green Day, The National, Pearl Jam, Mariah Carey and Slipknot have all scrapped or postponed shows as COVID-19 continues to spread — and that doesn't even include festivals like Ultra in Miami that have been postponed due to the virus. Here's an ongoing list of artists who have had to change tour and live event plans due to the coronavirus: Thom Yorke/Tomorrow's Modern Boxes After postponing the U.S. tour to the fall April 15, Thom Yorke has announced that the Tomorrow's Modern Boxes dates are postponed moving forward. Madonna On March 9, Madonna became the latest artist to cancel shows due to the coronavirus. Madonna canceled her shows on March 10 and 11 in Paris. Pearl Jam Pearl Jam announced on the night of March 9 that they'd be postponing the first leg of the Gigaton tour due to the coronavirus.
