"I will unleash the troops of rock like an armada dispatched to your eardrums," says Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme at the start of his "Alligator Hour" on Beats 1. He meant the songs he was about to play, surely, but he also had one of contemporary rock's highest officers up his sleeve for later in the show. Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner stopped by for an absurdist chat and interview on the show wherein the pair read notes that they'd left themselves on their phones and seriously discuss songwriting.
