With "Down," the latest video from St. Vincent's upcoming Daddy's Home album, which has been described as "the\u00a0grit of 1970s vinyl meets the grain of 1970s celluloid." Co-directed by St. Vincent (aka\u00a0Annie Clark) and Bill Benz, the \u201cDown\u201d clip sees St. Vincent careening through a narrative in a seedy hotel, with scenes of reel-to-reel tape machines and ominous shadowy figures in the hallway adding to the mystery. "Down\u201d follows \u201cPay Your Way In Pain\u201d and \u201cThe Melting Of The Sun\u201d \u2014 both performed on St. Vincent\u2019s recent return to Saturday Night Live \u2014 as the final song to be released ahead of\u00a0Daddy\u2019s Home\u2019s arrival.
